Mattering (of out of the EU) goes to finish

Although this news it has not direct bearing on the video games, it affects us in an indirect way. In my case, the last time that I bought a title in a Spanish physical shop, Nintendo was still doing games, and I imagine that most of you also you will have acquired the healthy decision to matter, a few euros saved themselves. That's why, it is my duty to inform you about the tip-off that has given us a turbot reshulón. On the page 7 of the published BOE last Tuesday, it is warned about the Modification of the Law 37/1992, of December 28, about the Value-added tax.

The change that more us atañe is the one that refers to the Article 34: Imports of goods of scarce value.

There will be exempt from the Tax the imports of goods which global value does not exceed 22 euros.
They are excepted of the arranged in the previous paragraph:

1.th The alcoholic products understood in the codes NC 22.03 to 22.08 of the Customs-tariff.
2.th The perfumes and colognes.
3.th The tobacco in branch or manufactured.»

Till now, since the above mentioned article was approved in 1992, the limit was 150 euros. This supposes that for every buy that we do out of the European Union and I overcame 22 euros, include postage and packing to you, they will add to us a VAT that earlier we did not have to pay, unless the product was costing any more than 150 euros. Obviously, most of the video games have a higher price, for what we will have to pay a tariff if we acquire it in a country not belonging to the EU. Fortunately, we will always have left Paris England …
